How to prepare your fries

To ensure that your potatoes are tasty, crispy, and dry, Bem Brasil has prepared some special tips:

1st - Preparing for frying

  • Do not thaw the product: The Bem Brasil fries SHOULD GO STRAIGHT FROM THE FREEZER FOR FRYING;
  • Freezing temperature: Keep frozen Bem Brasil fries below -12°C;
  • The pan or frying basket must be partially filled, only halfway;
  • Fries should be completely submerged.

2nd - Oil and frying

  • The ideal oil temperature is between 175ºC and 180º. If you don't have a culinary thermometer, the best tip is to observe the process. First, small bubbles form, and as soon as they start to shrink, it has reached the ideal temperature;
  • Between one round and another, wait for the oil to return to its initial temperature;
  • Follow the frying time recommendation that is described on the packaging.

3rd - Finishing to frying the fries;

  • Drains for up to 20 seconds;
  • Add salt away from the fryer, as salt degrades the oil faster;
  • Serve while still warm: they will be crispy.
